Memphis Layover

Several weeks ago, I made a trip to mum's to see my son play soccer for his Senior Night at college (*still wonders when she became the mum of a college senior*). On the way there, I had the chance to spend a couple of hours at 's where she made a wonderful dinner and joined us! Be jealous, very jealous as you view the picspam :D

Long Distance Information, Give Me Memphis, Tennessee

I haz Memphis Tennessee

After a 5 hour drive that was nice, good weather and uneventful.

And a great time at lady_karelia 's tonight. We've had the most wonderful Indian dinner courtesy of her husband who is a fabulous cook! Pappadums, rice, vegetable curry, paneer (indian cheese) curry, chicken curry. Add some wine. Some wonderful friends like calypsobard and socially_awkwrd as well asblue_paris and frineds who are totally great of lady_karelia 's family and it's been a perfect evening.

I'm learning how to make feta cheese which is not as difficult as I thought it could be.

Listening to Gotan Project playing currently and working on some crochet as we finish the evening with butterbeers.

Can't ask for a better vacation.

Yep, I'll be coming to Memphis to actually spend more than an hour or two on my way through to elsewhere *grins*

Vacation approved for July 6, 7 and 8th so currently, planning to arrive late morning/early afternoon of Sunday, July 5th.

Things I'd like to do??? Hard Rock Cafe (You all can thank my middle child for that addiction now :D lol), discover memphis, craft, see what this cheese making is about (never done it before), music, fun, friends, relax, etc etc etcetc :D

So toss out ideas. :D
