A Day in the LIfe of a Podcast Roadie!
Well, we awoke early to meet Kelly at the Airport! Of course, we had to greet her in proper wizarding style!
From there, it was back to Rosemary's to gather our things and head to Norman and Mugglefest! Finding the Train Depot with no problems, We went in and Rosemary and Kelly prepared themselves for the first of 3 Trivia Competitions with the 4th one being the championship round. And so it began!
While they were doing that, I wandered the streets of Norman seeing what else abounded. All three of us were amazed at some of the amazing sidewalk art that was being produced for the Art Contest they were having.
Two of our favs were:
While the Trivia contests at the train depot continued, I wandered over to the Library to see what events they had going on there! It was fantastic. I got to meet Rebecca one of the AWESOME group of Library staff and volunteers behind this event! She graciously submitted to my first "interview" for Fangirlin' and also posed for a photo with my dear friend Lady Macbeth who is sporting her Hufflepuff colors proudly!
I also got to interview the dear potions master Professor Snape while there (and hopefully Kelly will be merciful and edit my stumbling out of it :D) They turned the library into Hogwarts for the day and had classes in Potions, Herbology, Divination as well as Dumbledore with the Sorting Hat and various crafts. They also held a Harry Potter Movie Marathon and showed all 4 movies during the day.
Being the Roadie for Fangirlin' for the day was rewarded by being able to sit in for their live broadcast during the "Meet & Greet Harry & the Potters" including getting a chance to meet the band and have my photo taken with them!
After that, Rosemary's husband, Justin and I went to get in line for tickets at the Sooner Theatre while Rosemary and Kelly went backstage and interviewed the bands for their podcast!
Later that night, it was concert time and the night began with Draco and the Malfoys
After a short intermission it was Harry & the Potters!
Both groups were great and so was the crowd! It was a wonderful concert and a good time was had by all! Afterwards, we had been invited to join in an after concert dinner at Coach's with the workers and the two bands. We had a wonderful time and met some wonderful people.
Just before we left, the band members posed with us for a picture and even the band Roadie - George - (YAY George! Roadies Rock!) and the Fangirlin' Roadie - yours truly - got in the picture!
YAY WIZARD ROCK!

OKC
Its the night before Mugglefest and all through the house
The muggles are restless as the wizards expound
On various trivia and thoughts on the books
And have the HP movies on for the sound.
They filled time with knitting
and thinking up questions
One of their number was missing
and called in suggestions
And so it arose that tomorrow would be
A day for fun, fresh air and of course HP
And so after arriving in OKC suburbs at Rosemary's, we headed to Barnes and Noble to knit with Shelly. Managed to finally finish my Voodoo Wrist Warmers (uh remember them from the Knitting Olympics in February ..yea those, finally done!) and sewed a pygmy puff together.
Hi Kelly!!! See you in the morning :D

Progress on the Molly
Some of the most dangerous words in the English language are How hard can that be to make? It's hard, trust me but here is the apron to go with the Molly sweater. Constructed using a wraparound blouse as the basic start for the bodice and pieces of a skirt cutting 3 instead of 2 and binding and well let's not discuss the rest LOL
