Crafty Update - Picspam once again

Ok, so the last time I updated you on my Molly Sweater progress was here. Since then, alot of those parts have now become these which have now found homes with , , , Lizzie, Melissa, Cnprpl and Shawna at Leaky Cauldron as well as ,

However, my craFting these past months did not stop there. I made the atc's and owls below for some swaps at Terminus, the tshirts for the DRAGONs team (Leaky Con 09 Informal Programming Team) to wear at Terminus as well as a crown for our Queen Dragon :), gifts for friends and fiends that I looked forward to spending time with while there (and did :D ).

Made myself a shawl to wear to the ball at Terminus and then made shawls for and her mom,

There was a wedding at Terminus and I wanted to make a small something for the couple... this afghan

And along with an apron above, made this for a Twilight swap with Cat

Squee Mail Pic Spam

So ever since I returned from Terminus, 'Real Life' kicked in high and I've either been running like mad or laid up unable to do anything. So it was, I've not been able to share some wonderful squee mail and goodies I've received over the past few weeks.

First off the lovely spoiled me bigtime for my birthday with a lovely hand sewn crochet hook roll that is absolutely perfect for my light up hooks, a crocheted tribble, eyeball, bat, coffee cup holder, water bottle holder, a Twilight 'vampire in training' bookmark and dragon key ring.

Not to be outdone, The Princess aka spoiled me with some yarns for my stash including awesome Glow in the Dark yarn and some hard to find rust I need for an afghan I designed.

I was totally surprised when this package from arrived with a pair of Tudor Rose dishclothes (tho they are too pretty for that and have become coasters for me, one at work and one by my computer/craft area) a crocheted snitch bookmark and fantastic handmade card!

I really really think I came out ahead in this trade with for one of my Molly sweaters. In return I received a beautiful dragon wall hanging, cards with drawings of Bella's Old Truck, a crochet hook roll (yes I do have enough hooks to fill both of them :D ) and a weighted bag to keep on the arm of the chair and hold supplies.

has been knitting goodies for the Crafty Witches and I received this just in time for Terminus :)

Once again, a trade for a Molly resulted in something awesome as I received these beautiful Molly & Arthur ponies from the talented and wonderful

And while I got them at Terminus and not as mail, these are definitely to be squeed over. started the afghan on her way to Terminus and finished it up the second day there at the HP Crafter's Meetup and it's mine!!! made the lovely Hufflepuff Lightening Bolt Scarf and gifted me with it!

And one final surprise was in a package for the HP Yahoo Terminus swap I 'organized' One of the swappers added this beautiful 'Lily" pin as a thank you for my work on the swap

Hey I said it was Picspam :D

I can haz broth nao??

Ok, so yeah haven't been around since posting I was on way to ER. That's cause they have me something for pain which only half worked, sent me home and in three hours, I was back at ER and being admitted to the hospital in Poteau.

The ultrasound has shown the walls of my gall bladder thickened and would have to come out... so in I went to be put on IV and pain meds till they could get a time in ER...

Which turned out to be Tuesday morning and when he operated, removed it turns out it was also infected (which did not show up in bloodwork), inflamed and had some large stones which never showed up on ultrasound.

Came home yesterday afternoon and feels good to be back. Slowly working on catching up flist, emails and such.

Missed you all so much

Unfortunate, with no health insurance, we'll be paying this off for a good while :(

A Rockin' Birthday Gift

I have the most awesome husband in the world!  He told me my birthday gift would be late simply because it did not go on sale till September 12th.  That was quite fine by me because I really did want Metallica's new cd, first in five years - Death Magnetic.

Well, it wasn't just the cd!

He also got me a ticket to go see them in
Little Rock on November 22nd!

SQQQQQQUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEE

I love my husband :)

I'd Rather Be at Terminus Still ......

if hubby could join me there too :)  Finally home and glad to see Joe again.  But missing all my friends soooooo very very much.

Of course, it seems I can't get home without some excitement in my life....

And that is what was left of my tire after it shredded/blew out at milemarker 14 on I-65 south in Kentucky Tuesday night/Wednesday morning at 12:30 a.m. :D  Fortunately was only going 55 due to construction and able to pull car to shoulder.  Called 911 asked for an emergency vehicle of some kind to provide more flashers besides my 4 ways till Geico could send a tow truck.  Wonderful woman who not only had all her flashers on but also helped explain to Geico the problem with towing out of this particualr construction section back to closest place as opposed to the Walmart at exit 2.  Turns out she's a HP fan and, Cowgirl, don't forget to send me your addy cause I am totally making you that Molly sweater I promised you that night.

Got tires on at Walmart (ended up getting 2 since if 1 went, I wasn't sure I wanted to trust the other one on the front as we got them the same time.

Terminus?  Wonderful, amazing, awesome!

Details and photos later once I get caught up

*where she rants*

Funeral at work this morning. Now this does not mean I don't have to do my normal type work, just that I have to make sure things are ready in the sanctuary and such as well.

On phone placing order for our upcoming VBS, funeral director comes in, don't bother to ask if I'm busy or even notice I'm on phone. Justs tells me he needs fellowship hall door unlocked (on other side of church). Told him soon as I was done, he left. Continued placing the order. Was in the process of giving credit card info for billing.... He comes back and yet again does not bother to ask if I'm busy or even notice I'm on phone. "That door needs to be open! I have family wanting to get in!" I hold phone where it is rather visible and tell him "Soon as I am done! I'm still on this call!" He storms out says he'll do it himself.
